Standing orders can be used to instruct the institution to make an automatic fixed payment from your account to a beneficiary account at a specified frequency. For example, you can use this feature to make monthly rental payments.
By creating a standing order, your payments are taken care of automatically and you will not incur any merchant charges due to late or missed payments.
